FC Barcelona Set to Play Historic Game at Renovated Camp Nou this Saturday
The club confirmed they will play at the partially upgraded Camp Nou over the weekend. The club will host Athletic Bilbao in domestic competition over two years after they moved out for construction to commence.
“Returning home was our dream. Finally, it’s happening. We are back at Spotify Camp Nou.”
Attendance will be limited but 45,401 spectators will be allowed to watch based on approved permits. Once fully finished, it will accommodate almost 105,000 spectators, up from the previous 99,000. Officials confirmed completed upgrades featured a new players’ tunnel and new dressing rooms.
Recent Activities
Barça organized a public practice at the Camp Nou earlier this month. They mentioned they were hoping for permission from Uefa to host the next European match facing Eintracht next month at the stadium. Their recent games have been held at the Olympic Stadium.
